From Kyoto JR Station
Take the #9 express bus from Kyoto JR station. You can catch it on the north side from platform B1. Get off at Horikawa Nakadachiuri which is the next stop after Horikawa Shimodachiuri. It takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. It is a 1 minute walk from the bus stop. You will need to walk north 10m to the first east west street which is Nakadachiuri. Then turn left (west) until you reach the first street (20m) at which point you turn left again and walk down until you reach the white gate on the right (30m). Walk inside the driveway and enter the building with the red door.
If you take a taxi it will cost about 1500yen. Tell the taxi to go to Horikawa-Nakadachiuri. You can say, in Japanese, it is the former Juraku Elementary School.
